Job summary

Dope Diagnostics is launching a New York State cannabis testing laboratory in Pearl River, NY focused on rigorous analytical science, regulatory compliance, data integrity, and defensible laboratory results. The Laboratory Analyst / Analytical Chemist will operate LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, and GC-MS/MS with instrument tuning, method validation, troubleshooting, and data review.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least two years of practical analytical laboratory experience.
Meaningful hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS and/or GC-MS(/MS).
Experience preparing analytical samples, standards, QC materials.

Responsibilities

Perform preparation and analysis of samples using LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, and GC-MS/MS methods.
Prepare samples, calibration standards, internal standards, blanks, spikes, and QC materials.
Operate LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS instrumentation for routine and non-routine testing.
Troubleshoot analytical and instrument issues and monitor QC results.
