Job summary

Kaycha Group, Inc. is seeking a Lab Analyst to join Kaycha Labs in New Jersey.

You will perform qualitative and quantitative assays using GC/MS and complementary techniques, document results, and support routine reporting while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role requires a BS/BA in a relevant science and at least two years of lab experience; cannabis industry exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Engineering or Environmental Sciences required.
• Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and analytical methods.
• At least 2 years of post-college laboratory experience.
• Experience with cannabis or related industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualitative and quantitative assays using GC/MS and other methods.
• Prepare samples and maintain rigorous documentation to avoid cross-contamination.
• Interpret data, assess accuracy, precision and quality control.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and report issues.
• Participate in SOP management and training of new staff.
