Job summary

Kaycha Group, Inc in Arizona is seeking a Lab Technician, Level I to support analytical workflows and skill development in a cannabis testing lab. You will homogenize, weigh, extract samples, and perform QC checks under supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliant documentation.

The role requires 0-1 year of lab experience and a chemistry-related degree, with opportunities to advance in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related field (state requirements).
• 0-1 year of lab experience.
• Knowledge of lab terminology and techniques.
• Exposure to cannabis industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory protocols under supervision.
• Prevent cross-contamination and ensure accurate sample identification.
• Prepare samples via homogenization, weighing and extraction.
• Perform QC duties including LCS and matrix spikes.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative tests.
• Use the LIMS to create batches and maintain records.
• Adhere to ISO 17025 and regulatory requirements.
• Support customer service and safety standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
