Job summary

Verdes Cannabis in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Harvest Assistant to support harvesting and processing of cannabis plants. This hands-on role involves plant handling, equipment operation, cleaning, and accurate tracking of weights, batches and barcode labels.

You will retrieve plants from grow rooms, separate into flower/trim/waste, weigh and label batches, and maintain harvest logs in a fast-paced environment. The position is full-time at 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and record dates, weights and barcodes accurately.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Ability to follow harvesting procedures and safety requirements.
• Reliable transportation.
• Clear communication skills.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, including occasional weekends, holidays and snow days.
• Able to pass state and national criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve live plants from grow rooms.
• Separate plants into flower, trim and waste.
• Operate and maintain trimming and bucking equipment.
• Weigh, label and transfer flower and trim batches.
• Accurately complete harvest logs and track barcode labels.
• Clean harvested rooms and remove plant debris, containers and grow supplies.
• Wash and sanitize pots, trays and equipment.
• Assist the Grow and Dry/Cure teams as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
