Job summary

The Flowery NY is looking for a customer-focused budtender in New York to help create a welcoming dispensary experience. You will assist with orders, educate customers on available products, and process payments at the POS while adhering to brand policies.

Starting wage is $18 per hour. Experience in retail or cannabis is preferred; you will also help with marketing activities and occasional deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail sales and/or cannabis industry experience preferred.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
• Ability to manage customer flow and assist with orders at the POS.
• Stay up-to-date with company brands, products, policies and procedures.
• Willingness to assist with occasional deliveries and marketing activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform store opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and preparing workstations.
• Create a customer-friendly environment and provide excellent interactions.
• Check in, verify and/or create new customer profiles upon entry.
• Control the pace of customer traffic within the dispensary.
• Educate and assist customers in creating orders based on physician recommendations and customer needs.
• Inform customers of promotions or highlighted products.
• Create customer orders and accept payment at POS.
• Assist with knowledge of current brands, products, policies, and procedures.
• Provide marketing support and participate in storefront activations.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
