Job summary

DCM Inc. is seeking a Dispensary Retail Associate for our on-site Maryland location. You will provide product knowledge, assist customers, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor while driving sales and delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities include stock management, POS entries, order fulfillment, and processing transactions as part of a dynamic retail team in a fast-paced cannabis environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21+ for legal employment.
• Must pass Federal and State criminal history background checks.
• Minimum 2 years of retail or food service experience.
• Cannabis experience is preferred but not required (up to 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Follow policies to ensure safe, efficient, compliant operations.
• Keep the dispensary stocked, clean and organized.
• Maintain product knowledge of store items and industry trends.
• Deliver high levels of customer/patient satisfaction with professional service.
• Enter customer data accurately into POS and company platforms.
• Meet with customers to assess needs and relationships.
• Guide customers on cannabis use and products as needed.
• Fulfill online, in-store, and curbside orders efficiently and accurately.
• Process sales transactions and manage POS data.
• Operate cash register and handle cash.
• Execute inventory, merchandising, and in-store marketing as directed.
