Job summary

DCM Inc. in the Washington, DC area seeks a Retail Associate (Budtender) to deliver product knowledge, assist customers, and maintain a clean, stocked sales floor.

You will educate guests on cannabis products, recommend suitable items, and input transactions in the POS while helping drive service and sales results. The ideal candidate has at least two years in retail or food service, METRC experience, and a genuine passion for cannabis.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Pass Federal and State background checks.
• Minimum two years of retail or food service experience; cannabis experience preferred.
• Minimum two years METRC experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Keep the dispensary stocked, clean, and organized.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains.
• Ensure high levels of customer/patient satisfaction with service.
• Counsel customers/patients on cannabis use, dosages, and effects.
• Conduct sales transactions and input data in the POS system.
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
