Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain the required Ohio Dispensary Employee License.
• Retail, hospitality, sales, or other customer-facing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, active-listening, and customer-service skills.
• Comfortable learning cannabis products, retail technology, compliance requirements, and sales processes.
• Basic math, computer, POS, and cash-handling skills.
• Must successfully complete required background checks and onboarding requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with professionalism and a service-first mindset.
• Verify IDs and patient registrations before completing transactions.
• Educate customers on cannabinoids, product categories, formats, potency, and safe use.
• Recommend products and support store sales goals and promotions.
• Process transactions accurately through the POS system and handle cash.
• Maintain compliance with DCC rules and privacy requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure sales floor and workstations.
• Complete opening, closing, and daily operational checklists as assigned.
