In Grown Farms in Freeport, IL is seeking a Cultivation Technician to provide daily care from seed to harvest, ensuring clean, potent medicine for patients. This entry-level role offers growth with a strong emphasis on horticulture and learning opportunities within the cultivation team.

Reporting to the Cultivation Manager, you will follow a structured care schedule, maintain logs and inventories, and perform routine cleaning and safety practices in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree in horticulture, agriculture, biology, chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and office equipment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Care for medicine from seed/clone to harvest; monitor environmental factors to maximize production and sanitation.
• Implement daily feeding and care schedule as directed by Cultivation Manager.
• Prune crops at various stages with consistency and discretion.
• Maintain inventory and records for reservoirs, equipment and logs.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper disposal of waste in the cultivation area.
