Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) is seeking a Cultivation Lead in Massachusetts to guide a team of up to 12 Cultivation Technicians. You will ensure plant health, quality, and productivity while training staff and enforcing SOPs in a regulated cultivation environment.

The role reports to the Cultivation Manager and involves daily guidance, scheduling, and performance feedback within a compliant framework, including METRC tracking. Join a growing cannabis operation committed to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old and able to pass a background check.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a State Registered Agent Card.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Comfortable in humid environments with strong plant odors and temperature fluctuations.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow sanitation/safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead cultivation technicians and provide training, scheduling, and feedback.
• Oversee cultivation rooms and environmental conditions for plant development.
• Canopy management: defoliation, pruning, trellising, staking for light, airflow, and bud quality.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and SOPs, including METRC tracking and inventory control.
• Monitor plant health and report pests or deficiencies; coordinate harvests; analyze team performance metrics.
