Job summary

Savvyherb seeks a Maintenance Specialist to support facilities maintenance operations in a cannabis cultivation facility in Illinois. You will perform basic installation, inspection, and routine upkeep of equipment on site.

Responsibilities include completing maintenance tasks, documenting issues, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, and maintaining records. Requires 1–3 years of related experience and comfort working in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to register with state cannabis commission as an agent.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists.
• Document and troubleshoot minor maintenance issues involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair.
• Report all maintenance issues to Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain record of scheduled maintenance procedures.
• Perform custodial functions to clean and maintain the building both inside and outside.
• Assist with management of outside contractors for required service.
• Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with laws.
• Adhere to SOPs and safety policies.
• Provide support to cultivation, harvest, and production teams as needed.
