CRISP CANNABIS in Connecticut is seeking a dedicated Budtender to join our on-site retail team. You will assist customers, process transactions, support inventory controls, and uphold store standards in a fast-paced cannabis environment.

The role emphasizes educating customers, recommending products, and ensuring compliant, responsible use while maintaining professional customer service and accuracy at the register.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hospitality, sales or customer-service experience preferred; cannabis experience helpful but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to learn product information, operate a point-of-sale system, and handle cash accurately.
• Able to follow procedures, accept coaching, manage multiple tasks, and work cooperatively.
• Must pass post-offer background check and meet state licensing/credentialing criteria.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and assess preferences, interests, and budget.
• Help customers navigate products and make informed purchases without high-pressure tactics.
• Provide recommendations and communicate promotions, loyalty programs, and featured products.
• Maintain knowledge of product categories, brands, formats, potency, pricing, and promotions.
• Explain product characteristics, consumption methods, onset, duration, storage, and responsible use.
• Address routine questions and refer escalated matters to the Shift Lead.
