Job summary

Nectar Markets in Beaverton, OR is seeking a friendly Budtender to guide customers to the right cannabis products and ensure a memorable visit. You will use Dutchie POS, handle cash and discounts, promote deals, and maintain a tidy store.

Weekend availability and a marijuana workers' permit are required; transportation and a strong customer service mindset are essential. Nectar offers medical/dental/vision coverage after 60 days, PTO, birthday off, tuition reimbursement, wellness and commuting

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work weekends.
• Must possess a Marijuana Workers' Permit or the ability to obtain one at your own expense.
• Must have a reliable method of transportation to get to work.
• Exceptional Customer Service skills.
• Desire to learn about our products and cannabis therapies.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, point-of-sale software, and cash management is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality.
• Fun attitude and strong work ethic.
• Lift up to 40 pounds and stand for the entirety of a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Enhancing the customer experience by providing educated product recommendations.
• Embracing the Nectar culture by promoting our deals, rewards program, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment for team members and customers.
• Ensuring the sales floor is properly stocked and that the store is well-maintained.
• Promoting a positive work environment that is customer service-oriented and compliant with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain and continuously expand knowledge of our products, brands, and vendors.
• Accurately utilize the Point of Sale (Dutchie POS) in person and for online/phone orders.
• Detailed and accurate cash handling and proper application of various discounts.
• Strong understanding of our deals and promotions to effectively explain them to customers.
• Maintains accuracy and confidentiality when inputting Recreational and Medical customer information into our system to conduct sales.
• Verifying customers' identification and/or Medical cards before each sale to ensure compliance.
• Other miscellaneous store duties vary depending on the location and store needs at any given moment, as assigned by the Management Team.
