Job summary

Ayr Wellness is seeking a Budtender for our New Jersey dispensary to deliver an extraordinary customer experience and help customers select cannabis products with knowledgeable guidance. You will support store operations while upholding policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in retail or customer service, and are flexible to work evenings and weekends. High school diploma or GED required; 21+ with ability to pass background checks is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to pass all background checks as required by state cannabis agency.
• Availability to work retail schedule that includes nights and weekends
• Prior customer service experience in hospitality, pharmacy, customer services, or retail environment.
• Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge and guidance to customers about Premium Cannabis products.
• Resolve customer questions quickly and report unresolved issues to management.
• Handle customer orders at POS and inventory systems in compliance with policies.
• Maintain clean, organized dispensary and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Meet daily sales targets while delivering exceptional customer experience.
• Assist in training or guiding fellow staff as needed.
