Job summary

Dogtopia is hiring energetic individuals to join our playrooms overseeing daycare, boarding, and spa services. You must love dogs and be proactive in maintaining a safe, clean environment while delivering friendly customer service.

After training, you may even bring your own dog to work. We offer education in dog obedience, a dynamic team culture, opportunities for progression, competitive wages with flexible scheduling, and free Telehealth and Teletherapy for you and your household.

Qualifications

• Must love dogs
• Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing
• Ability to work flexible days and hours, including holidays and weekends
• Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manage large groups of dogs
• Keep playrooms clean of messes
• Cleaning includes mopping, sweeping, trash and water refill
• Be proactive in keeping dogs in a clean and safe environment
• Perform meal prep with little or no guidance
• Store daycare and boarding belongings with correct labels
• Bathed and nail trim when needed (training provided)
• Learn dog breeds and behaviors
• Report dog scuffles promptly for safe wound care
• Work with team to uphold standards of care
• Care for all dogs as if they were family
• Engage, play, and enjoy the dogs

What you'll do

• Maintain control of large groups of dog
• Keeping playrooms clean of messes at all times
• Cleaning includes mopping, sweeping, trash, and water refill
• Being proactive in making sure dogs are always in a clean and safe environment is key!
• Able to perform meal prep with little or no guidance
• Stores daycare and boarding belongings properly with correct labels
• Bathe and nail clip when needed (training is proved)
• Learn how to identify dog breeds and behaviors
• Report dog scuffles right when they occur for safe wound cleaning if needed
• Work with team to assure our quality of care sets the standards for dog care
• Caring for all furry friends as if they were a part of your family
• Engage, play, and enjoy the furry friends!

Compensation:

$14 hourly
