R.M. Palmer Company is hiring dependable Machine Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts to support confectionery production. You will operate mixers, depositors, packaging machines, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in food manufacturing or production preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment (mixers, depositors, packaging machines).
• Perform changeovers efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain product integrity.
• Monitor product quality, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments as needed.
• Complete minor operator-level maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Perform scheduled operator-level preventive maintenance.
• Follow standardized recipes and production procedures for consistency.
• Maintain sanitation of work areas per food safety standards.
• Record production data and report issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production goals.
