Job summary

Goetze’s Candy Company in Baltimore is seeking a Mixture Room/Kitchen Associate to join the production floor. You will prepare candy mixtures in kettles for the assembly line and transfer candy across the floor while adhering to GMP and safety procedures.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 6:30am–3pm, with a starting pay of $18 per hour. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of production experience, can stand for long periods, and can lift up to 50 lbs (team lifts up to 80–100 lbs).

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of production / assembly line experience.
• Mixing ingredients in production setting.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work in the mixing room and kitchen.
• Prepare candy mixtures in kettles for the assembly line.
• Stir sugar in kettle over flame to make caramel.
• May start off as rack pullers and then move into the kitchen.
