Job summary

Uncle Gs Management Corp. on Long Island is seeking a Candy Clerk to join our family at the candy counter. You will assist customers with candy requests, ring up sales, stock products, and help create orders for pickup while keeping the department clean and organized.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, basic math at the register, and decorating the store. A HS diploma and at least one year in retail are required; English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• HS degree or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• At least 1 year of related experience in retail sales.
• Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers with their Candy requests
• Running a register and performing basic math functions
• Stocking candy products and properly storing them
• Creating Candy orders for pickup
• Will create store decoration, perform inventory control and ensure the cleanliness of the Candy Department while on shift
• Other duties and functions are assigned
