Job summary

Uncle Gs Management Corp. operates a gourmet store on Long Island and is seeking a friendly Candy Clerk to join the team. You will assist customers at the candy counter, operate the register, stock products, and help create attractive displays while providing warm, attentive service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with candy requests.
• Run a register and perform basic math functions.
• Stock candy products and properly store them.
• Create candy orders for pickup.
• Decorate store and manage inventory; keep the Candy Department clean.

Our Candy Clerks are outgoing and approachable, delivering excellent customer service to customers at our Candy counter. This is a fun and exciting position, making various types of candy options, chocolate pieces and homemade assorted items!

Responsibilities

1. Assisting customers with their Candy requests
2. Running a register and performing basic math functions
3. Stocking candy products and properly storing them
4. Creating Candy orders for pickup
5. Will create store decoration, perform inventory control and ensure the cleanliness of the Candy Department while on shift
6. Other duties and functions are assigned

Requirements

1. HS Degree or equivalent
2. 18 years of age or older
3. The qualified candidate will have at least 1 year of related experience in retail sales
4. Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills
