Job summary

Alene Candles is seeking a laboratory technician to perform performance and safety testing, collect and analyze data, and resolve issues in a clean, compliant laboratory environment. You will measure candle emissions with a Densitometer and perform calculations for reporting.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work in a team or independently, and proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat. Location is provided in New Albany, OH.

Qualifications

• Experience with data collection, reporting and results analysis is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to work in a group or unsupervised environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance and safety testing according to laboratory test standards and customer methods.
• Collect, review, and analyze lab data, resolving any issues before submitting for review.
• Identify problems concerning equipment, process, materials, safety, etc. and consult with supervisor relative to suggested resolution.
• Measure candle emissions using an electronic Densitometer and perform mathematical calculations for analysis and reporting.
