Job summary

SpaceX in Texas is seeking a Candidate Specialist (Recruiting) to serve as the initial step in the hiring process, reviewing and screening inbound applications and acting as the first point of contact onsite, including tours and sharing the SpaceX story.

As the role evolves, you will identify passive talent, support program management to improve hiring efficiency, and partner with recruiters to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout interviews.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in recruiting or human resources.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook and Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with Greenhouse or other applicant tracking system.
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide tours of the facility and SpaceX overview.
• Manage onsite interview logistics and coordinate with recruiters and hiring teams.
• Learn SpaceX programs to discuss them with candidates and groups.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience during interviews.
• Review inbound applications for select roles and build talent pools.
• Partner with recruiters to align on ideal candidate profiles and share applicants with teams.
• Drive program management to improve hiring efficiency for core areas.
