Job summary

Charleston Area Medical Center in Preston Memorial Hospital, Kingwood, WV, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Cancer Services. This full-time position supports patient-centered cancer care across our campus, with daytime schedules and regular 1.0 status.

You will coordinate an interdisciplinary plan, perform assessments, and collaborate with physicians and families to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal communication with physicians, patients, and families.
• Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: collects comprehensive data for patient health and plan.
• Diagnosis: analyzes assessment data to identify issues.
• Outcomes Identification: sets expected outcomes for plan.
• Planning: develops strategies to attain outcomes.
• Implementation: carries out the care plan.
• Evaluation: monitors progress toward outcomes.
