Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a Full-time Program Assistant to support grant-funded cancer research at Hollings Cancer Center. You will recruit participants, collect data, and manage regulatory tasks as part of the SCOR team, collaborating with investigators, clinicians, and patients in a clinical setting.

You will assist with study coordination, data entry into REDCap, and ensuring ethical conduct and safety for participants across multiple studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, premed, neuroscience, biology, nursing, or other life sciences or health care field preferred.
• Experience with recruitment and consenting research participants.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for recruitment strategies and study materials.
• Screen participants for eligibility and obtain informed consent.
• Schedule study visits and maintain subject-level documentation.
• Enter data into EDC systems and resolve data queries.
• Coordinate with study personnel and provide updates to the team.
• Assist with regulatory submissions and reports (IRB, RPPR).
• Lead or train other Program Assistants as needed.
