JOB SUMMARY
The Cancer Registrar 2 is accountable for case-finding, and abstracting core data items that include pertinent information about the patient, the disease, and its management into an electronic system. Assists in training of registry personnel, adheres to the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) guidelines and requirements for approved programs. Complies with requirements mandated by the Texas State Department of Health Services and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention requirements in terms of timeliness and completeness of reporting. Conducts statistical research related to collection data.

SALARY
The pay range for this position is $24.92 (entry-level qualifications) - $37.37 (highly experienced). The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate’s specific qualifications and prior experience.
