Woman's Hospital is seeking a Certified Cancer Program Abstractor to coordinate Breast and GYN Tumor Conferences and support registry data collection, abstraction, and reporting. The role ensures accurate reporting to the Louisiana State Tumor Registry and compliance with accreditation standards.
The position requires an Associate degree or higher, CTR certification, and tumor registry experience, with ICD-9-CM/CPT coding knowledge preferred.
The Certified Cancer Program Abstractor coordinates Breast Tumor Conferences and GYN Tumor Conferences and assists with the collection, abstraction, coding, staging, and reporting of cancer registry data. This position supports accurate reporting to the Louisiana State Tumor Registry and helps maintain compliance with cancer program accreditation standards.
