Job summary

WVU Cancer Institute in Morgantown, WV seeks an experienced program manager to lead cancer prevention initiatives within CPC. The role focuses on program development, evaluation, and stakeholder collaboration to advance evidence-based services.

The successful candidate will direct a multidisciplinary team, manage grants and contracts, and build partnerships with state and national partners while ensuring rigorous reporting and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of two years of management and/or supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Strong program management and oversight skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary team environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversees aspects of program development and management for specified projects.
• Recruits, maintains, and directs a program team to meet all deliverables.
• Maintains positive relationships with granting agencies and partners.
• Prepares and delivers new proposals for funding and sustains existing programs.
• Oversees fiscal requirements of grants, contracts, and subcontracts.
• Tracks program progress and develops strategies to improve outcomes.
• Represents WVU Cancer Institute at state, regional, and national meetings.
