Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking a Supportive Oncology Patient Navigator to help adult cancer patients access resources, coordinate care, and overcome barriers in outpatient settings. Under supervision, you will assess needs and educate families while coordinating with supportive services to improve adherence and experience.

The role supports the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center within the Supportive Oncology Services, and requires strong communication, time management, and collaboration in a 100%

Qualifications

• High School graduation or GED equivalent and/or equivalent training.
• Experience with the general public and community agencies in collaborative settings.
• Experience with multi-cultural, multi-generational families and diverse structures.
• Strong customer service skills and cultural humility.
• Ability to work with healthcare teams, patients, and caregivers.
• Excellent communication and boundary setting in a team.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; good data search skills.
• Ability to manage time and work autonomously with attention to detail.
