Job summary

UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOM OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center seeks a Cancer Outcomes Research Program Coordinator to advance symptom management, supportive care, digital health, and long-term cancer outcomes through collaborative research.

You will work with leading clinicians, researchers, and principal investigators to drive meaningful improvements in patient care and study conduct.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Professions required.
  • Minimum 24 months experience in nursing, healthcare, or clinical trials management.
  • Will accept 48 months equivalent experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple research protocols and projects with real-world impact.
  • Engage with participants for screening, consenting, enrolling, and ongoing support.
  • Manage research data using REDCap and OnCore.
  • Partner with IRB on protocol development, submissions, and updates.
  • Identify recruitment barriers and help shape strategies to overcome them.
  • Assist in developing study materials, maintaining regulatory documentation, and tracking progress.
  • Contribute to manuscript development with study teams.

Pay Range:

Targeted annual salary ranges from $38,700 to $50,300, based on experience.

As a key member of our Cancer Outcomes Research Program, you'll be at the heart of studies that shape the future of symptom management, supportive care, digital health, and long term cancer outcomes. What You'll Do:


  • Coordinate multiple research protocols and projects that drive real-world impact

  • Engage directly with participants, screening, consenting, enrolling, and supporting them throughout the study

  • Manage essential research data using REDCap and OnCore

  • Partner with the Institutional Review Board on protocol development, submissions, and updates

  • Identify recruitment barriers and help shape strategies to overcome them

  • Assist in developing study materials, maintaining regulatory documentation, and tracking study progress

  • Conduct medical record reviews and contribute to manuscript development


Work closely with 2-3 principal investigators and collaborate with a dynamic team of Research Assistants, Project Managers, clinicians, and scientists

Required Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Professions field.

  • 24 months experience in nursing, healthcare, or clinical trials management.


Equivalent/Substitution:

Will accept 48 months equivalent experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.


Required Certifications and Licenses:

If the department requires an RN or Physician Assistant, the applicant must have current State licensure.
