Job summary

The Oncology Navigator is responsible for managing the care of identified patients with cancer, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, to ensure access to high quality care throughout the continuum.

Serves as a single point of contact for cancer patients, caregivers, and referring physicians, and provides resources and assistance with accessing clinical and non-clinical supportive care services offered by Piedmont Healthcare and its community partners.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• 2 years nursing experience required.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for identified cancer patients with a multidisciplinary team.
• Serve as single point of contact for patients, caregivers, and referring physicians.
• Assist with accessing clinical and non-clinical supportive care services.

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification Preferred
