Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support cancer trials within the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. You will coordinate multiple Phase II–IV protocols, assist the PI in patient recruitment, and manage study data with OnCore.

The role requires handling regulatory interactions with IRB/FDA and collaborating with sponsors. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS graduation and relevant experience.
• 1-3 years of clinical research coordination with BA/BS or equivalent.
• Knowledge of national/international human subject trials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage Phase II–IV cancer trials per GCP and SOPs.
• Attend clinics to support PI with recruitment, screening and consent.
• Serve as liaison to sponsors and regulatory bodies; transmit info as needed.
• Maintain trial data in the OnCore system and ensure regulatory compliance.
