Job summary

UC Irvine's Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center seeks an Assistant Research Data Coordinator to support data management for cancer protocols (Phase I–IV). The role entails accurate data collection, CRF transcription into sponsor EDCS, and timely submissions to sponsors.

You will work with the clinical research team, PIs, and sponsors, ensuring regulatory adherence and data quality, with OnCore as the trial management system and NCI reporting compliance.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of medical terminology and ability to read progress notes in patient charts.
• Experience coordinating clinical data collection and data entry.
• Familiarity with GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive data management for cancer-related protocols across Phases I–IV.
• Ensure timely, accurate data submission to study sponsors and maintain CRF data in sponsor EDCS.
• Liaise with sponsors, governing agencies, and multicenter networks; support study teams and PIs.
• Maintain trial information in the trial management system (OnCore) and comply with NCI reporting requirements.
