Job summary

SGMC Health's Pearlman Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a reimbursement specialist to ensure accurate billing for cancer care. You will work closely with the South Georgia Medical Center Business Office to verify patient account information and timely reimbursements.

The role requires advanced Excel and MS Office skills, attention to detail, and the ability to educate staff on proper charting for reimbursement. This is a Full Time, 8 AM–4:30 PM position in the Cancer Center Administration.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; MS Office proficiency required.
• Medicare/Medicaid compliance knowledge preferred.
• Ability to handle billing and reimbursement with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reimbursement processes with Cancer Center and Business Office.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of patient account information.
• Educate staff on charting for reimbursement of treatment and services.
