Job summary

The Practice Manager at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health leads the Lebanon 3K Medical Oncology and Hematology clinics, overseeing daily operations, scheduling, and coordination across physicians, nursing, and administrative staff.

You will drive access, patient flow, revenue management, and service excellence while promoting collaboration and continuous improvement in a cancer center setting. This role requires strong leadership and budgeting skills to support the mission and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science with 5 years of related supervisory/ management experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Excellent organization, interpersonal, oral and writing skills.
• The ability to relate and deal effectively with physicians, administrators, support staff, and the general public with tact and discretion.
• Prior budgetary preparation and systems development experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads the health care team of each assigned section in all aspects of daily operations.
• Interviews and hires new support staff; trains and evaluates staff; promotes staff development.
• Assesses section needs and adjusts support staff levels as required.
• Oversees operational and information management systems; develops efficient procedures and standardized processes.
• Fosters multidisciplinary collaboration with other departments and sections.
• Identifies and develops new programs to improve service delivery and efficiency.
• Manages financial aspects including annual budget preparation and monitoring performance against budget.
