Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years equivalent work experience in patient care or related setting preferred.
• Three (3) years’ experience with scheduling systems (Epic Cadence, QGenda) in a practice, cancer center, or access center environment.
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills, with ability to translate scheduling and utilization data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Experience training staff or supporting process improvement initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates provider scheduling across all Cancer Center system clinics, partnering with leadership to align scheduling capacity with patient demand.
• Administers QGenda for all Cancer Center providers, including builds and time-off entries, and integration with Epic Cadence.
• Resolves scheduling conflicts and access issues in real time, serving as primary contact for escalation.
• Supports new patient access workflows to reduce time-to-first-appointment.
• Monitors provider schedule utilization and demand trends across clinics, flagging capacity issues.
• Presents utilization data to leadership and physician stakeholders to inform capacity decisions.
• Trains staff on scheduling processes and tools, acting as a go-to resource.
• Ensures privacy of patient health information and compliance with standards.
• Attends regular access meetings to represent scheduling priorities.
• Promotes a positive environment and teamwork.
