Job summary

HonorHealth in Peoria, AZ is hiring an RN for the Cancer Care-Peoria Medical Campus. This day shift role is Monday through Friday, 08:00–16:30, with up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.

The RN will provide patient care guided by the ANA Standards and Code of Ethics, document medical histories, perform diagnostics, administer treatments and medications, and support IV therapy and rehabilitation. Collaboration with physicians and the care team is essential.

Responsibilities

• The RN's practice is guided by the ANA Standard for Professional Nurse and Code of Ethics.
• The RN records patients' medical history and symptoms, helps perform diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• The RN administers treatments and medications, and assists with IV lines and therapies.
• The RN establishes and contributes to a patient care plan and coordinates with physicians.
• The RN teaches patients and families about managing illnesses, home care, diet, and self-administration.
• The RN precepts new staff and supports ongoing professional development.
