Job summary

MaineHealth is hiring a Medical Assistant to join the Cancer Care team in North Conway, NH. You will be part of a compassionate team supporting patients through their cancer journey, from preparing patients for visits to collaborating with providers and care team.

The role emphasizes patient-first care, teamwork, and a positive patient experience in a specialty setting dedicated to high-quality cancer care.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED; MA programs with 160 clinical hours; or 1 year clinical experience in practice setting.
• License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT; BLS within 30 days; NH Med Tech License or NH EMT if NH position.
• Experience: Six months as Medical Assistant or one year as MaineHealth Clinical Team Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits and assist providers and care team.
• Support patients and families to create a positive experience throughout the cancer care journey.
