• When equipment is down, a line operator may perform other work including general housekeeping, maintenance assistance, dumping scrap and trash hoppers, safety hazard identification

Can Line (slitter) Operator Job Specifications

• Repetitive lifting of up to 35 lbs to 50 lbs.
• Ability to differentiate color
• Frequent bending/stooping/reaching
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Ability to react quickly to and obtain the correct assistance when equipment malfunctions
• Full understanding of all housekeeping and GMP requirements
• When equipment is down, a line operator will perform other work including but not limited to general housekeeping, assistance with maintenance, dumping scrap and trash hoppers, safety hazard identification, etc.
• Strong communications skills and ability to give and receive information to address quality, operational and maintenance issues and needs
• Basic mechanical skills/aptitude desire
