Job summary

Silgan Containers in Breinigsville, PA is hiring a Can Line Mechanic to maintain and optimize high-speed can line equipment, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability to keep production on track.

You will work at our Breinigsville plant with a starting wage of $36.42 per hour plus a $1.75 night shift differential (6 PM–6 AM). We offer medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, holidays, and a quarterly bonus, plus training and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in manufacturing or mechanical diagnostics/repairs.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize mechanical systems on high-speed can lines.
• Operate and adjust can line equipment to ensure uptime.
• Use calipers, micrometers and gauges to meet tight tolerances.
• Monitor production flow and diagnose mechanical issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of safety, productivity and quality.
