Job summary

Silgan Containers in Burlington, IA, is seeking team members for a 12-hour shift (6:00pm–6:00am). Starting wage is $20.90 per hour with biannual pay increases for the first two years. The role involves operating equipment, monitoring quality, and maintaining accurate production records.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment to keep production lines at maximum productivity.
• Monitor quality and follow protocols when defects are found.
• Perform rework to keep Hold inventory at minimum levels.
• Complete all required documents for production reporting and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with management to improve safety, quality, cost and productivity.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

What you’ll do:

• Operate manufacturing equipment effectively and efficiently to keep production lines at maximum productivity
• Monitors quality of product and follows established protocols when defects are found
