Job summary

Cognizant in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Camunda BPM Developer to design, develop, implement, and support business process automation solutions that improve operational efficiency. You will collaborate with analysts, owners, architects, QA, and dev teams to translate requirements into scalable workflows using Camunda, BPMN 2.0, and DMN with Java/Spring Boot integration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Camunda BPM development including workflow creation with BPMN 2.0 and DMN.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and building Delegates/Workers.
• Experience with Camunda Modeler and Camunda Cockpit for modeling, monitoring, and administration.
• Strong understanding of automation, integration patterns, and enterprise-scale workflows.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests with JUnit and Mockito.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end business workflows using Camunda BPM and BPMN 2.0.
• Develop and maintain business process applications with Camunda, BPMN, and DMN.
• Build Java Delegates, External Task Workers, and RESTful services to support orchestration.
• Integrate Camunda workflows with enterprise apps, APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Implement security best practices including RBAC and secure API development.
• Support CI/CD, deployments, and production incident resolution.
