Job summary

The Center for Public Partnerships & Research seeks Personal Trainers to work at the Ambler Student Recreation Fitness Center. Trainers will guide members including students, staff, and affiliates in achieving health and fitness goals through tailored exercise programs.

Applicants must possess current CPR/AED certification and either graduate from the ACE Personal Training Program or hold a NCCA accredited certification. This hourly position offers a salary range of $15.40 to $18.45 per hour, with start date anticipated on April 27, 2026.

Qualifications

• Possess a current CPR/AED certification with skills assessment.
• Completion of ACE Personal Training Program or equivalent certification.
• Experience using cardiovascular and resistance training equipment.

Responsibilities

• Define and instruct clients on training programs.
• Mitigate risk and ensure proper technique during exercises.
• Document session records and payments.
