Job summary

The Center for Campus Wellness at the University of Utah is hiring Wellness Exchange Ambassadors to support student wellness and access to basic needs resources. WEAs help connect students to campus services, assist with events, and collaborate with campus partners to foster a welcoming environment.

The part-time role requires 10-12 hours per week during Fall through December, with potential renewal. Training is provided and the position is eligible for University of Utah Work‑Study funds.

Qualifications

• Must be University of Utah student with a current Federal Work-Study Award for the current year.
• Must have completed at least one year at the University of Utah by the time position begins.
• Must be in good standing academically and in conduct.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Shows commitment to campus and community through involvement.

Responsibilities

• Transport food, hygiene, and wellness items between the main Wellness Exchange and satellite pantry locations.
• Organize and restock pantry and thrift inventory; track items and usage data as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and accessibility of pantry spaces.
• Communicate with campus partners regarding inventory needs, donation coordination, or site updates.
• Support promotion of satellite pantry services through tabling, outreach, or collaborations with student groups.
