Job summary
Owatonna School District 761 is seeking a Campus Greeter at Owatonna Middle School to welcome students, staff and visitors while promoting a safe, respectful environment.
You will monitor student behavior, assist with de-escalation, operate communications gear, and support district safety policies during the 7:00 am to 3:00 pm schedule on weekdays. The role requires a high school diploma and offers benefits with a starting wage of $15.99 to $21.71 per hour.
Qualifications
- High school diploma is required; post-secondary study preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to respond to hostile situations and de-escalate.
- Experience working with youth preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with students, staff and visitors in a positive, professional manner.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and secure school environment and enforce district policies.
- Monitor student behavior and report unsafe conditions or incidents; de-escalate when needed.
- Operate cameras and safety equipment and coordinate with administration as required.
