Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks a student employee to welcome and engage with prospective high school students on GCU Day visits, creating an energizing environment and providing a high-quality visitation experience.

You will initiate conversations, build rapport with students and chaperones, support check-in and activity transitions, and collaborate with staff to showcase campus life. Availability: two weekdays 8:00 AM–1:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program at GCU.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 (undergraduate).
• Maintain SAP standing with the University.

Responsibilities

• Initiate conversations with prospective high school students and maintain high energy throughout the day.
• Collaborate with GCU and GCE staff, as well as students and chaperones.
• Represent GCU’s campus life and academic excellence through communication and presentation.
• Assist with check-in, transitions between activities, meal coordination, and other logistics as directed.
• Learn quickly and work independently to deliver high-quality work.
