Grand Canyon Education, Inc. is seeking a Promo Team Member to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCE's Marketing department.

The role supports the Marketing Ground Events Team by assisting with admissions-focused events that promote Grand Canyon University to prospective students and families on campus. The position emphasizes creating welcoming, organized event experiences, handling guest check-in, logistics, and hosting groups, while collaborating with Admissions

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable engaging with large groups and one-on-one interactions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and an eye for event presentation.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and do what is needed to support the team.

Responsibilities

• Support full-time Marketing Event Planners with the setup, execution, and breakdown of admissions-focused events
• Assist with event logistics, including room setup, moving materials/equipment, signage placement, and event tear-down
• Manage day-of event operations such as guest check-in, directional assistance, crowd flow, and hospitality
• Create a welcoming and positive experience for prospective students, families, school staff, and visitors while representing GCU in a professional and enthusiastic manner
• Serve as event hosts for visiting school groups when needed, helping guide groups and maintain engagement throughout the visit
• Communicate effectively with Admissions Counselors, event staff, and other university partners to ensure smooth event execution
• Anticipating event needs and proactively assist with problem-solving in fast-paced environments
• Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned
