Qualifications

• Must display a commitment to sexual and relationship violence issues.
• Must be enrolled at Ferris State University, taking at least 6 credits.
• Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA.
• Must have approval from the Office of Student Community Standards to join the program.

Responsibilities

• Generate a curriculum of events that would occur throughout the academic year.
• Provide year-round awareness to ensure changes in thoughts and actions are sustained long-term.
• Attend all monthly Anti-Violence Alliance meetings.
• Attend all mandatory training sessions (Including but not limited to dating/domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, public speaking, prevention best practices, how to facilitate the Bringing in the Bystander curriculum, and annual refresher training ).
• Co-facilitate prevention/awareness programs or events each semester.
• We are looking mainly for peer educators who are willing to present, but we can accept a few applicants who only want to create social media content.
