Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Previous cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Receive cash and checks for deposits; verify amounts and endorsements; enter deposits into computer records.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals after verifying signatures and balances.
• Promote and explain services such as CDs, safe deposit boxes, traveler’s checks and money orders.
• Receive mortgage, consumer loan and other payments and ensure amounts match balances due.
• Count, check, and package coins and currency.
• Ensure teller stations are stocked with forms and supplies.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with co-workers.
• Pursue ongoing personal and professional development.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• Assist with account opening procedures.
• Pin ATM/Debit cards.
• Document and file items into the system.
• Travel to other branches to assist staffing may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
