The position reports to the Principal, is non-exempt, and is a full-time role with normal work hours across 193 days. Bachelor's degree required (or actively pursuing) with eligibility to enroll in a teacher

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or actively pursuing degree.
• Eligible to enroll in teacher certification program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction based on provided lesson plans and learning objectives, using appropriate instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.
• Cover classrooms campus-wide when the assigned teacher is absent
• Manage student behavior and classroom routines
• Take attendance and complete required documentation
• Build positive, professional relationships with students, staff, families, and campus leadership.
• Work collaboratively with experienced teachers to strengthen instructional planning and classroom practices
• Support campus-wide duties as assigned (duty, lunch, dismissal, testing, etc.)
• Communicate with administration on coverage needs
• Attend required staff meetings and professional development
• Step into full-time teaching roles as openings arise
• Perform any other duties as assigned
