Job summary

Oklahoma City University seeks a Recruitment Specialist to coordinate hiring across campus, from posting to first day. You will own the ATS, guide search strategies with managers, and ensure every candidate is treated with respect.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive HR, talent acquisition, or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; associate degree may substitute year for year.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and HR software.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus; support for obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate searches across employment types from vacancy approval to offer acceptance.
• Develop search strategies with hiring managers and manage interview processes.
• Own and operate the PageUp ATS, including training others and keeping data clean.
• Be the point of contact candidates hear from from first contact through pre-boarding.
• Train hiring managers on process to ensure consistent searches and respectful treatment.
• Expand recruitment via job fairs, sourcing strategies, employer branding, and partnerships.
• Track outcomes and propose improvements; support employee engagement efforts.
