Penn State's Sustainability unit within the Office of Physical Plant seeks a presently-enrolled student to support education and engagement campus-wide. The role emphasizes Sustainable Labs Program work and the university-wide Employee Resource Group, with emphasis on communication and independent learning.

The internship starts January 2027 for 8–12 hours per week, with potential extension into summer full-time. Prior experience with Canva, Adobe, and MS Office is a plus.

Formación

• Must have a GPA above 3.0.
• Strong written, interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Interest in sustainability and problem solving; curious and able to work independently.
• Experience with developing educational programs or materials is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with development, planning, and implementation of educational programming and resources for the Sustainable Labs Program.
• Support the ongoing management of the University-Wide Sustainability Employee Resource Group.
• Develop and refine educational resources like the Green Paws Certification Program and engage staff in such programs.
• Collaborate with Sustainability and HR to integrate sustainability into professional development and training processes.
• Translate global sustainability goals into educational materials for PSU employees.
